We had two decent days of wind here last week, Tuesday and wednesday. Managed a PB on wednesday clocking just over 30knots on freeride gear so im pretty pleased by that on the down side i tried a willy skipper ( not doing 30 knots ) and smashed my head onto my mast ( considering helmets now ). Lots of people out on the water those two days that like me should of been at work!!!
I dont speed sail normally, i was using a jp excite ride, 7.2 neil pryde sail and a 40 cm fin and i way around 67 kg it was blowing around 20 25knots during its peak. This was on very flat water at caloundra golden beach. I could be wrong but this is some of the info i managed to get out of the gps

2 sails this week, Tuesday took the 6.1 sail out in 25 knots ESE and had some really good runs but a little gusty - close to getting smashed.
Sailed Thursday 15Knots with 7.7 sail, good speed and calm conditions.
May - Septmber is the time for strong winds here.
Wife is going on a girls trip tomorrow for a couple of weeks so looking forward to some LONG sessions on the water!
Got a windsurf in today, Mondy. I windsurfed in the bay in 30+ knots. It Was really on shore, so it was very hard work just trying to stay on your board. I tried a few jumps, but its not much fun jumping in on shore 30+ winds over powered. Still managed to get air born a few times. I did not manage to get any photos, of every one out today, to post in this forum, cause I was to busy windsurfing most the time..maybe next time fellas
