I've got about 17 fins now. They are all over the place. At the moment they're in a plastic storage box with my extensions and tools but they clatter about and I'm always rummaging around for what I want.
Does anyone have any tips or examples of how to keep them organised and ready for use?
I have an old NP one like a giant book but it only held 5 fins so my mummy sewed a couple of extra "pages" in.
So I reckon get the cheapest and add to it.. :)
Nice thing is it also has screwdriver holders and a pocket for anything u want so I have clear plastic shims (for US box tightening) and fin screws, barrel nuts etc. Joy :)
BTW had that one for about 15yrs - zip was cactus long ago but still holds fins noice :)
Take a look to the GunSails finbag.

I have fins from 50cm down to 30cm in it and it is absolutely worth the money
I'm using two Prolimit gear bags one for speed/small slalom fins and the second for bigger fins. They do them in two sizes small (upto 40cm ish fins) and large (for upto Formula fin sizes).http://www.24-7boardsports.com/prolimit-gear-bag/
I'm thinking of getting one of these, they can take upto 15 big fins:

I think C3 do a similar version.
I went with the largest tool box I could find.
Then I cut two lengths of wood, drilled some hole and inserted doweling as uprights to arrange the fins.
that toolbox is AWESOME!
i'm brand new to this forum.. from brisbane.. im 24.. turned 24 on tuesday and im looking for some buds to bodysurf with.

That looks great, even looks like my fins with that familiar delta wing shape.
The best thing is no zippers to rust up.
I'm off to bunnigs to buy myself 2 or 3, 50cm tool boxes. ![]()
Bunning's have come up trumps again!
I was going to buy another box for my fins and they now have 71cm 'Stanley Fat Max' box for $49, so I got one
I reckon the box is the way to go; they look good and a cheap solution for a big fin collection.
In my opinion the fin pods/bags look great and nice in theory, but in reality they don't hold that many fins and unless you have ocd and have them packed in fin type/size order it can be a pain trying to find the right fin.
I have a flying objects fin bag but ran out of room in it, think I'm going to get a toolbox; the lid will keep the sun off the fins as well.
