I'm guessing this package would've made a windsurfer very happy 20years ago?

And nowadays black's the new....flouro orange?

Got all nostalgic - I haven't heard a board called a 'wave jumper' for a looong time.

It all looks to be in amazing condition, and those Strappers were a very good board. They started all the modern thinking with regards to getting the wide point back a bit and better rocker line. Mike DiScasio (sp?) and JP changed the world with those things.

I'd love to buy it just to have a sail on a perfect wave on that old stuff

Who ever thought flouro was a good idea?

No wonder it's in good condition. I haven't seen that gear out on the bay for a decade at least.

Oooh. Strapper board- I had one of those once. And WildWinds sails. So cool (in their day).

I still use a wildwinds sail 4.5.
It is my favourite - it is so light and easy to handle
the kids like it too- they think it's looks so cool

Deregistered. My firm used to do some work for them back in the good old days.

As to (at least one of) the people behind it, two letters, first one being "K".

Those wild winds sails are in excellent condition considering their age. I bet the guy has hardly ever used his kit.

Why do most modern windsurfing sails and boards have such drab colour schemes? Grey, black and brown seems to be the go. Something fun should have fun colours like that board and sails.

Here we go again, Mr Nameless Redthumbs wants to dispute that Jason Polakow is so good he trashes lots of gear.
Or maybe he wants to dispute that Jason used Strapper and Wild Winds?

Grow up d!ckhead

Nah, that's bollocks. I had an ex-Jason WildWinds 4.2 Slalom Race (?) sail in the bad old days and it was in very good nick. But then he probably only ever rigged it once. Proudest bit of kit I've ever owned, and I still think I've got the sail bag somewhere. Never tried to pass myself of as KA1111 though. Even got a genuine Grubby North Ice 3.7 that he had barely ever used.

Using second hand gear of legends still doesn't make me sail like them though

PS: Mark, if I ever red-thumb you, I'll ***kin' tell you so!
