Long way to go to attend, but given some of the names that will participate, and also given the clout of the organiser himself, this makes it the one truly major event of the kind. None of that equipment tweaking and changes based on wind: all use the same one-design from 5 to 25 knots.
Australia will be represented anyhow, but I know there are some other serious Aussie freestylists (in Sydney at least) that could give anyone a run for their money.

As of a couple of weeks ago, Greg Johns and multiple national Wally champ Dennis Winstanley were heading over for the One Design events and concurrent Kona worlds. I'm fairly sure Dennis is the only one of the more serious Aussie-resident freestylers who is heading over.
