Great to see Jaeger having such a good run - especially considering he is coming off 3 months of no sailing here in windless australia !

i gave him no chance of penetration into the draw - and look what he does!

Shame he had to take out Scotty to do it.

He took out some other big scalps to penetrate - especially Mussolini- who is a complete gun

The next heat is a big one for sure - will probably happen late arvo / evening aussie time. Check out the draw.

could this be the Return of aussie waveslaying pride ?

The rest of the single and the double are going to bring on some sweet action

Jaeger is in the hunt for the final - its either him or Dany Bruch to take on the very impressive Philip koster in the final - i think Jaeger got it on wave slaying skills - he's being talked up heaps by the judges / commentators. Sick wavesailing -we knew that !

- i'm a bit biased but its great to see so many severnes in the finals

its severne sails domination in the womens finals - all top 4 ladies are on Severne

jaggi, Alonso, Moreno twins- its an orange fest out there.

judges are deliberating at length over the bruch / stone result - it must be close!

Koster annihilated Sauli

and its official - Jaeger's in the final !

Aussie wave riding style gets results !

Dany Bruch and Sauli will sail off for 3 and 4 in the single.

conditions look very WA like - onshore pockets of slayers with some jump opportunities

Kosters gonna be real hard to take down in the final - he's got doubles on tap

Jaeger can do em too - but he's definitely the underdog.

aaaaargh! just got :

"The video you are trying to watch is unavailable

please try again soon"

The tv crew have lost power - the Sauli Bruch losers final is on.

Bruchy the local boy (and event organiser) should go well

Kauli is on fire - Bruch looks like he's out of steam - crashing heaps.

It would be a major comeback for Bruch to take this one from here

I feel like I am about to watch history. Think of the current situation with the top guys, the conditions (which they train a hell of alot in) and the fact Jaeger hasn't had much PWA sailing for a few years or as Matt says three months sailing for him in Aus. Shows how fing talented he is!!

Go Jaeger!

i think jaeger just hit a rock - but at the end of a wave that topped Kosters

Kosters pinged a huge dub

Jaeger is up so his fins are still there - nother solid ride - with a taka at the end

he's gonna have to go 2 scoops to win

but he's got the edge on waves at the mo

he'll probably leave the jump till the last minute -i would

he's hurt himself badly doing those in the past

he's definitely killing it on waves - so a big jump will be needed - cant wait to see what he's got

Was pretty sick. Conditions were solid - there were some sizey sets coming through. Jaeger's turns were getting him through. It's not every day someone from Gero takes down the World Champ...
