A brief note to let everyone know that Jason was taken to hospital (after crashing and hurting is neck) and after few Xrays was sent home last night with no serious injuries...All good. Thanks a lot to everyone for helping out. Cheers Dario

ah brings back memories. It sounded like he ended up in the same acute ic unit as me a coulpe of years back. Nothing like being strapped to a backboard and a neckbrace for 4hrs answering questions like " does your neck hurt?"
at least it all ended up well for him. Maybe he'll think twice before doing fowards in knee deep water now, that one has always puzzled me

Gday Guys - thanks to all of you who helped carry my lardy frame out of the water and into the ambulance. My neck aches a bit and a couple of fingers still have pins and needles but AOK. For Dan's sake, the water was waist high - not knee high

Good to hear you're Ok. I saved a few beers for you and you can at least have a look at pics of the race action you missed out on, NSW section. I even have a few pics of the post accident scene but I didn't want to scare anyone with them.

Hope to C u on the water soon.

Jase, I thought I was the stupid one for kiting instead of having the christmas epic session at Wanda, but alas there is always someone more stupid. What were you thinking sailing at Kyeemagh???
Glad you're ok by the way.

Rob
These days at Kyeemagh are an investment into getting my kids dialled into footstraps/waterstarting and gybing so we can end up spending more time back in the waves! I heard Monday was half mast and ripping at Wanda.
Gerroa looks good for this weekend
Happy Christmas
Jase
