it's strange that shark attacks grab everyone's attention but when someone is killed in a car crash well it's just another accident but we should be more worried about surviving on the roads than in the water
Dont know if it would help much but in a situation like that I think Id rather have a sailboard to crawl up onto rather than be attached to a little skateboard size thingy..
this guy almost qualifys for a Darwin award.
kiting in waters during a "shark migration"
where most the beaches were closed due to "thousands of shark sightings"
I'm pretty sure a windsurfer was eaten by a shark in SA around 10 years ago. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Sheesh, you know, the idea of been eaten alive... nah. I feel for this persons fam & friends, :( most water sportsmen are the coolest ppl on earth.
quote from the link "Police are investigating"
Investigating what??? Are they going to find and charge the shark? Maybe they are concerned with a wind v kite turf war and have concerns the shark was sympathetic to the windsurfer??
Reporters crack me up.
Here: www.sharkattackfile.net/incidentlog.htm you can download a list of worldwide documented sharkattacks, and not many of them are related to windsurfing and only 3 to kitesurfing!
