the carve is a 2000 model i believe, not a 2007. plus it is a freeride
board not freeestyle
i'd be checking this stuff out very closely. it bugs me that people can advetise gear and place a date on it that is out by 7 years.
for $2500 you could buy a modern board and rig that would cover the same wind range as the gear above.
I don't know about that. I haven't had a close look but I don't think the Carve is a 2007 model.
A 2001 model maybe. (Gesty beat me by a few seconds) On the plus side. I managed over 35 knots on this board at Sandy Point.
I have the exact same board (plus a few repairs), and I think I paid something just over a hundred for it (it definitely needed repairs). I am pretty sure it is around the 2000 or 2001 vintage.
I think the other two boards are about the right date.
The location shows 'WA' but they say they are in Yamba.
The red carve is a 1999-2000 model. It was the original Carve 99. Its dimensions didn't change till about '03 when they shortened it from 258 to 253, but the rest of the board stayed the same.
I agree with Gesty. People advertising on seabreeze owe it to the fraternity to be more accurate than 8 yrs out. (hopefully it was an honest mistake)
We don't want 'Seabreeze buy and sell' to start going the way of the ebay.
