It's not a closed system, they have managed to direct wind at a sail and get a higher percentage of wind blowing out the back of the boat, creating forward thrust. It's gonna go somewhere.
This is my all time favorite, a true closed system.
Yeah it totally took me by surprise as well -- no way I would have expected them to go forwards when the fan's pushing the other way.
