Would like to know the bend characteristics of Pryde masts from the last couple of years.

Thanks

They have changed quite a bit.
Whilst the common theme is tip flex not all of them are.

What sail / mast combo etc?

on the rdm's it depends on how much extention you stick up the mast,

Thinking of a H2 8.2 as it rigs on a 460. Masts I already have are a KA 70% and a powerex 100% carbon.

GH I am not that familiar with the race / slalom stuff but most NP is flex top.

The KA and Powerex are generally constant curve, so if used with an NP sail it will not twist enough. However, KA tends to be slightly flexier top so if no using a NP mast and you could only pick KA and P/ex, the KA is more likely to work.

If you are a heavyweight the slightly stiffer top mast may be OK.

I'd rig it before buying
