Hi,
Just need some urgent info , was wondering whether anyone can help.
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2010 Neil Pryde H2 6.7m sail for a decent price.
This uses a 430 mast.
I have an older Sailworks 75% 430 SDM mast, will this work decently with this sail?
I have emailed NP direct but havnt received an answer as yet, I know this sail will be sold shorlty so thats the reason i am asking here
Thanks guys
btw - who stole all our Seabreezes this summer :(((((
Are the IMCS the same ? Likely not to be as great as per designed mast it was intended for so you may need to tweak downhaul and outhaul rather than rig to specs.
yes the imcs are the same.
I do have a Loft 100% 430 rdm mast as well, are these sails compatible with Reduced masts (are the cams changeable from sdm to rdm)
Hello, DP,
For many years, NP masts have been what they call Progressive Flex Curve and the H2 has been designed around it. To my knowledge, no other sail maker uses Progressive Flex.
A Sailworks mast used with the H2 will work, but the look of the sail and how it twists off will not be to spec.
Hope this helps.
i broke my n/p X9 and now use a loft 100%430 rdm as well as a 430 n/p combatwave on the rs6.2 & rss 5.8, a friend broke his X9 so i rigged the loft 100% on his RS6.2 he was impressed especially with the rotation so brought one the next day
the cams sit further into the mast but doesn't seem to be a problem,,
you will notice the sail is rigged loose, must have been a light wind day
