Hi,
Are North shore Maui Fins the same company as MFC?
also,
Do North Shore Maui make good fins?

Yeah, but are "North Shore Maui" the same as "Maui Fin company"?
(i know MFC stands for Maui Fin Co)
Was just interested thats all.

I brought a 42cm freeride today. Havent tried it out yet.

Here's the new fin I brought today, it's 42cm. Is this an old style fin?
The shape just seems abit unusual.
It will be used with an F2 Ride 116ltr and 7mtr sail. I was told it's a foam core so abit more flex than a G10. Comments?

No, they are not the same.
I don't know if North Shore Maui still exist. They used to make custom and production boards shaped by Richard Greene (now with JP) as well as fins. They had a good reputation and their customs were ridden by some pros, repainted in their sponsor's graphics similar to many pros riding Quattro boards.
