Thought you guys might get a kick out of this board I found in a friends shop in Phuket, Thailand. Mistral Naish. Anybody know what year this is from?

Brand new, never unwrapped from the factory.

I reckon that the last model before naish broke up with mistral. Probably early 2000 so it might be 10 years old...

Awesome. That was my first board - learnt all the basics on it, loved it. Yeah probably around 2000 - 2002. Think it was 90 something litres.

Really light, but weak as. Would given it at least 8 nose jobs while trying to get my head around gybing etc....

1999-2000 model.
Yes it was the final series before Naish split from Mistral.
The one pictured is the 90+ ltr wave board.
They were really good boards to sail.
I had the 8'11" freeride of that year as well as the red flamed wave board (84ish ltrs)

Sad to see it still wrapped up.

Is that a hungee as in cooking in the ground?

Or hungee as in a 100 bucks..

'Cobra Ricks' shop on Phuket is like a museum there was a bunch of old stuff there. Less than before as much of it actually kept in the shops was washed into the jungle in the Tsunami.
