Hey guys, The Northern Beaches wind meter should be operational again soon but we need a better home for it.

We're looking for someone who knows of or lives on an absolute beach front place of wind activity relevance who will let us put it on there roof and host a PC or similar on their internet connection (upload only)

This is to revive the wind meter that was setup about 2 years ago that was struck by lightning and then had all sorts of issues.

I'm sure if someone would like to be compensated for the hassle we could sort something out via a donation thing.

Any ideas fellas? (you guys are a bit more responding that the kite crew)

Cheers
Pete

That's an easy fix. Only let the windsurfers use it once it's up

Would Long Reef Golf Club be open to having a meter on the club house roof? Maybe you could do a deal so they'd have a live wind reading on their website for their members? It would be an ideal spot to pick up the S,SW,N,NW,NE winds.

Just a thought.
