and my mates back home have started uploading vids of themselves surfing on FB, etc with this wicked little fish eye water proof video cam that takes 60 mins of video footage or 2 hours of 5 MGPX shots every 5 secs.
its $150 US - I am soooo getting one, with 2 base plates - one for windsurfing and one for surfing.
its pretty handy if you cant persuade the missus to swim out with the camera.

get it ! there $320 australian. you can get a automotive version which is the same except it comes with a suction cup mount which you can stick on you car or window its pretty cool thats he one i have.
