I think she left me :( Our relationship has been a bit hit and miss the last few months. Even when we finally get some time together our relationship hasn't got the energy it did just last Summer.

I can't stop thinking about her, in fact I think about her nearly all the time. On the way to work, at work, at lunch, even when I am in bed with my wife. She is always promising to see me on the weekends, but quite often fails to show up, or if she does her enthusiasm is lax. Quite often she'll leave half-way through our date, and sometimes not show up at all.

I've spent a lot of money on her too, often hiding the purchases or disguising them from the wife. Yes, that's right, this is something on the side. The wife knows about it but she is pretty cool with me spending some time with the other, she knows it is healthy for me.

She is asking me to come away with her for a holiday overseas, but I haven't the time or money right now. She promises things would be better in Hawaii. I'm tempted to listen to her.

well said EP I believe I have gazed into the eyes of this beautiful woman myself, in fact, I was looking for her today, but to no avail.

...as a younger man, maybe i treated her a bit poorly cause she left me on many an occasion so I started to spend more and more on her trying to get her back...now i practically have given her my life savings hoping that some day she will return.
