Does anyone know if you can buy high wind dagger boards made for original windsurfers? or possibly any new sails that would fit on the original mast

we used to make our own, but there is no need to buy parts for your old one, starboard now do a sup with a dagger board, pretty similar board but modern.

There's no supply of new high-wind daggerboards or new sails for the flexy old blue masts. PM me and I may be able to track down a sail but I'm not sure.

The guys from Hot Sails Maui say that a SUP or wavesailing longboard will not move like a flat-water longboard, and having had a try on a SB SUP I got the same impression. Different boards for different jobs.

It would be interesting to send a SB SUP down to Sydney for a comparative trial. Try;

Cronulla on Monday nights (about 6 ODs);
Middle Harbour on Tuesday nights (Jess Crisp and 15-20 youth on ODs)
Dobroyd on Wednesday nights (26 ODs entered + kids, 12 ODs + kids just about every week)
Woollahra on Thursday nights (just a few, it's new).
Middle Harbour on Friday nights (24 ODs last week, including 3 ex-Olympians and a dual world cup winner to spice it all up)
Narrabeen and Dobroyd on the weekend.

and we'll be able to get a good comparison.

windsurfer one design sails are available brand spanking new from most good windsurfing shops (Sam @ wind surf and snow would bhe a good start in syd). As these are made to comply with the "one design" class rules they will fit the "black" mast. (i stand corrected, sorry, WOD is your voice of authority here)
there has been a small resugence in the popularity of these boards, with jess crisp doing some post olympics coaching on them and others gearing up for the nationals. Surprisingly they are also still available new.

The rig and centreboard were redesigned years ago. The old blue mast was much flexier than the current black masts, so the current one design sails don't work well on the old blue masts.

If you can't find one on the used market, then just make your own up. It is as simple as the picture above.
