Part missing from bottom batten

The bottom batten on my 2013 Blade is sticking out. I can see a loop of string that looks like it went round something that sat on the end of the batten, which is no longer there. What goes on the end of the batten & can I get a replacement part?? It comes with a batten tension key and a little spare metal bit which I guess is supposed to go on the end of the batten, but it looks like it needs an extra part to attach it to the batten. I'll take some pics if that doesn't make sense!

That sounds like the tensioner that all the other ends of the sail's battens have. Is it a severne or loft? If loft, bud would have these still in his spare parts. Give Retailer a call otherwise.

Sounds like a tensioner. Look at the batten above and compare.

Sorry what or who is loft? Are they associated with Severne?

Did you get out yesterday?

Mainbreak was good. The wave was reforming a 2nd time :)
