Do windsurfers and kiters, although obviously very different species, have a common ancestor? What do you guys make of this:
That's the famous Newman Darby who was mentioned incidentally in the recent "how to make a sailboard" thread - possibly the inventor of windsurfing but not as we know it. There's a short vid around (just had a search and couldn't find it) showing him gybing that thing.
