OK, this is for the Queens crew who don't get or don't read the local paper (probably everybody except me). An interesting article about what the council will do about the damage to Queens North after the king tides. Seems the Donkin St groin (north) is to be extended.

Will mean more flat water so could be a good thing as long as the wind isn't affected. Should be OK on a kite but sailboards will have a drama if they go too far north. Wait and see.

and another awesome windsurfing spot gets wrecked by the local council.

the problem this "MAY" have is it will kill the swell that rolls through on a N-NE wind which is one of the things queens is so awesome for.
