Robby is reported to be signed up to compete in the wave tour for next season, not in the PWA but the American Wave Tour (AWT).

How long before the other guy switch to a competition that actually has some decent waves not just conditions that work when stars and the moon lines up just right.

Don't get me wrong, when the PWA locations work....They really do work but you see a lot of waiting around for the conditions to happen. I think this will be a good thing for the sport, If anyone can go over the top in promoting something it's the Americans. Imagine the super bowl of windsurfing.

I can't wait to see Robby out there giving the young guys what for.....

me too. in the early days when i started Robby was like Michael Jordan - so far ahead of everyone else. he totally dominated sport but without ego. he was unmatched for his combination of nerve, skill and style. i can't count how many times i watched R.I.P in the nineties.

welcome back dude...things have moved on, the riding these days is world's away, and the young bucks are doing some seriously crazy shiz that seems impossible. but in some way, Robby would have inspired them all.

i'm sure Robby's fire has not gone out, and even at 'master' age, he'll still have the power to amaze.

long live the king.
