Robe Easter wavesailing comp

Saw a mention of this in another post...

Anyone know what's going on this year? How many people were at last year's event?

Been a few years since I went - might have to make the effort again this year.

Spoke with Pete at Onboard a week or so ago when getting some gear and he spoke about this year so I believe it's on.

Was my first time sailing down there last year and there were probably 15-20 wavesailers in total last year with Richie Kleisch taking out first prize in nice 17-23knt SE on the friday.

Sat and sunday were 10-12knt non events but the beer and random draws were good value.

It is on. The Robe Easter Classis is the longest running wave comp in Australia (I think). Easter is earlier this year so it might be a good one for wind.

Pretty sure Mambo is the oldest running windsurfing comp.

Pretty sure it wil be on, just last year was fickle with wind!
