Does anyone know of any sailboard hire in Phuket. Im off to Thailand next winter and will be spending some of the time in Phuket. Would be great to go for a sail.

I know theres hire places in Pattaya but dont know anything about Phuket. Anyone know?

If your talking about our winter the winds a usually pretty light that time of year, from what I've heard anyway. But if your there anyway give it a go I say.

They will deliver the gear to most places on the west coast, but they close down off season.

spent time there late oct early november start of windy season 1 windsurf after 3 weeks no wind 8knots was the most on my last day i just had to go out crap board too and sail

Looking at may so maybe not much wind. At least I know where to get some gear if it looks ok. Thanks for the posts

I was there in mid June and we had some decent wind. I rang the hire place and the guy said that the business had closed for the season the day before and he was on his way to the airport So yeah, our winter is no good.
