My son and his friend (age 10 & 11)out having some school holiday fun, pity the wind faded away to nothing. It was only the second time out for the kid with the red sail and they had heaps of fun. Should have got them out today when there was more wind! Anyway still a couple of weeks left of the school holidays. Im always amazed how quick kids learn to windsurf. Anyone else got their kids out windsurfing over the holidays?

Gave my 13 yo daughter her first lesson on a 4.5 and a 120l slalom board at Port Stephens.Think the sail was too big and the board too small.Might try to get hold of a bigger board and smaller sail next time out.But the enthusiasm and excitement were pretty encouraging.A pair of booties would have helped too.
BTW the NEeaters have been great here over the past week, light in the morning ,ideal for beginners.
