Hi everyone,

I'M BACK!!!

I would firstly just like to say i'm sorry (but i'm not taking off my glasses ) for posting the practicle joke. I have had a lot of fun with it and actually got done myself by my good mate Pittsy. We have actually got many teachers, parents, brothers, sisters, other family members and mates at school and home which has been a lot of fun and no one has taken offence to it, so i asumed it would be ok here. I was clearly wrong.

I saw a previous thread with that """particular material""" aswell which is yet to be deleted (supprised laurie??) and thought that it would be a good joke to play on you guys and meant no harm what so ever. So am sorry if this was the way you saw it. Simply trying to play a joke on you all and didn't think it through well enough.

However i do think it was prity harsh penalty to block me. I think that maybe laurie, you sould introduce a warning system by having a new forum with warnings and make it public so everyone knows the issue and why people are in the wrong. Then if they are done again block them, and let everyone know who and why. Like a sin bin.

WARNING TO ALL ....... DONT GET BLOCKED!!! i was done for a day and it sucked. I know it sounds sad but that thing where the topics turn pink when a new post has been there is really good. And also the saved searches in the buy and sell section are missed greatly. And worst of all ...... I couldnt post when i really wanted to desperatley. I don't think i could have handeled it for a week.

Divaldo: I am not 16 by the way, i have just turned 15, otherwise i would most certainly be on the road now.

Sorry again and look forward to having much more fun with all of you.

Cheers
Bubs

P.S: I also realise that some were disapointed to have missed what happend. If you want to know exactly what i was banned for, send me a message with your email and i will tell/show you the link.

Thanks

Maybe, there could be a message left on the offending post. Clear that and the rest of the thread of unsuitable content, say why it's been removed, and what's happened to the poster/s.
I know Laurie is busy, but if we are all educated in forum requirements, it may lead to less interventions being necessary.

No i don't reckon because otherwise Laurie would have to block anyone under the age of 18 from going on it. And that means you guys get all the fun and i don't get to find out whats going on . Thats no good lol

Is this the one where an Irish kitesurfer was admitted to hospital after having phone sex? Doctors removed 2 Nokias, 3 Motorolas a Samsung and lots of Siemens.

I'm PMing you bubs, I must know, I missed it.

Yeah it was funny, but if its the one i'm thinkin of make sure there are lots of people standing around watching as you open, for best effect.

I reckon a simple warning on the thread would suffice in future, and also a sealed section would solve some problems.

Go funny stuff!

Harsh? Warnings? Where was your warning that the link you invited people to visit was actually gay pornography?! Crikey! If anybody knows how to "unburn" that image from my minds eye, let me know!

It's all good fun until someone loses an eye.

Have fun.. wind is on the way .. Lozza

Bubs, I know how you can get carried away with things on this site, and I think older guys like myself don't always set the best example, we all have to learn to be a bit more respectful of others, and remember that it's not just a small group of similar minded crazies on this site, that there are families and children that will browse.

we all make mistakes (me more than most) that's natural, we just have to learn from them

nice one lozza,

another thing is i like to think that all the warning you need is in the posting guidlines,

1. Be good to others.
2. Keep it fun.
3. Keep it clean - no swearing, harrasement etc.
4. Keep it fun.
5. Keep it legal!
6. Keep it fun.
7. No Advertising.

Laurie mate if i warned people, it wouldnt have been any where near as hilarious. Thats the whole part of the joke, the supprise at the end lol. Some thought it was a good gag, others thought it was poor form, but either way it's done now and i learnt my lesson. And i have to say its not the first sexual thing talked about or showed on this forum before.

Also i realise we all get carried away often, but thats the very reason i love it so much, every second theres a hilarious topic to read where everyone expresses views or shows off their funny things lol.

Every now and again someone takes it to far, like me i have been told, so it gets deleted and were all good and just carry on as per normal. So keep up the good work guys.

Cheers

So he would not have been banned for plain old vanilla hetero pornography?

Yeah but with just plain old """natural""" stuff it would not be anywhere NEAR as funny. Purely because doing it to my mates they wouldn't have that much against it lol. However having gay pornography is just nasty, so everyone quits out quickly because it's really embarrasing. Ah well its all part of the joke, even if this may not have been the place for it.

Sorry lads

I think reli means in a similar fashion to the giant boot that the Prime Minister of Australia was going to use on Bart in an episode of The SimpsonsNot that he would actually assault a minor

Couldn't agree more. I haven't seen the offending post, and don't want to, but what our poor relly says is so true. When on our home computer my back is to the household, so never know when a 6YO is watching - some photos appearing on posts are bad enough, and some avatars - sure I could choose to not look at Seabreeze until kids are in bed, but I want to get my daughter interested in what I do, hopefully to get another member of the next generation involved in windsurfing. I often find I'm hitting the minimise button as some pictures come up, then checking to see which eyes are watching.
On the other hand I realise windsurfing may need "sexing up" to improve it's popularity amongst teenagers. I'm sure the Reef ads in surfing mags made me get into surfiing . But porn is no ad for anything. I like Revheads idea - where Laurie puts the genre of the post in the list, maybe say something like
- contains pictures of nude sexy people-
- contains references to naughty things
- contains pictures of sexy bikini clad women - make sure wife isn't looking
- contains content related to kitesurfing - ignore
- contains one of poor relatives avatars - be warned.

Just thinking though, I have no idea how these sites work - I'm sure Laurie doesn't sit at a computer and read each post as it comes through and censure it - he wouldn't get to go sailing if he did - so there must be some way of red flagging posts that may be unsuitable for some viewers?

In our daily lives there are numerous signs, warnings, laws etc but people still speed, don't stop at stop signs, run red lights, kill folks, be mean, get drunk and do stuff they regret.

A pending upgrade to the site will have a few more new forum features...

That's ok to love men, Bubs.

Maybe Bubs could start a "Gay Seabreeze" website ?

Now Bubs, dont you feel silly that you started up this thread ? as nobody knew you were kicked off, or even what you were kicked off for ? But now we all know that you may be gay, and may like sicko porn websites.

Now mate i don't really know if your trying to be funny or something. Because i don't think anyones laughing. And if you had done a bit more research you would have realised that people did know (refer to topic www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=34998) and that i was simply appoligising for a mistake that i had made because it WAS the best thing to do.

You clearly DO have to much time on your hands to post a reply like that and to think of something along those lines would have been extremeily difficult for you.

I appoligise to everyone else once again and will also apoligise for someone who clearly has no self respect, or even respect from others. I feel sorry for some people.

Cheers
Bubs
