Currumbin will be epic if the forecast comes through; the waves are a bit smaller now, still better than chop.
Saun and I had one of the best sails out their on Friday 20kts powered up through the break all the way into the beach, with 3/4 to mast high sets pealing off down the line, it was one of those days that saun and I will talk about for a long time. It was 4hrs of bliss.![]()

It be good to see some others having fun with us at times, or just venture outside the box of shearwater.
if i was still living down at currumbin i'd join u but it's now a long way to drive for me on the off chance it actually gets any wind, especially from the se and at any decent strength. if the goldcoast gets any wind, the box gets it the best
and personally i don't care if its flat, choppy, wavey, just so long as there's wind and lots of it
once we start getting 5 days in a row of southeasters it will be a different story and i wouldn't care too much about wasting a day down there if the wind didn't blow
oli - you should create a thread for currumbin like i do for shearwater. i'm sure someone will be interested in going down there ![]()
just had a word with Huey, who, unfortunatley for you, has read this post.........

5 x
even though it was from a previous session
if x5
just so long x1
looks good x1
etc etc
but worst of all.....should be epic x1
clearly he is not very happy, you better think of something good...and he is getting a bit sick of virgin goat curry!
Oh to have more time than responsibilities. Windsurfing on a Monday afternoon eh? That's the life.
Haircut - here's that clip I told you about, someone doing a good impersonation of you at a place that looks like shearwater:
oops hehe. already got it down to the repair joint, thx chairman for the details.
Anyway, might do some sail shopping tomorrow, not sure whether to get a smaller one to compliment this one when it gets fixed, or buy one the same size and use the old one as spare.
only thing with getting a smaller sail, is i probably won't get much use out of it anyway.
thank you
we love you
could you please sacrafice another so tomorrow is as good as today, or even better thanks ![]()
come to currumbin. anyone interested in going into the waves for the first or second time this will be a good opportunity.
hope to see a good turn out. :)
make a thread specifically for currumbin JF, more people will see it
