Hi all,

I'm trying to send my used boom for sale from WA to SA.
I've quoted the parcel prices (Toll Priority, DHL, etc - Aus Post does not ship an item this big).
I'm getting non sense shipping costs of over $400 for an used $100 boom.

I've never used those kind of services before, so I might be doing it wrongly.

Have any of you already shipped a similar item to different state? Which company did you use, what's the average price?

Much aprreciated
Cheers
Guil

You should pull it apart and make the package as small as possible, you pay more for volume than weight. I used e-go, very cheap, average service, a bit slow, but that item does not risk much being damaged. Should not cost you more than about $20.
