Anybody ever shipped any boards to the UK? Looking at buying some of Hoops finest and need to find them a way home for less than $100 million. Don't know why though, the wind has gone pants here and winter was crap for wind.
Thanks in advance anyway...
Might be worth trying a few of the UK/Oz ex-pat forums, they sometimes have threads with people looking to share a container.
Alternatively I used AngloPacific to ship stuff to Oz, they might be able to help, or I think there is a company called vanlines who are similar to Anglo based in Oz.
Sea freight is probably the cheapest option. I got a good quote from these guys: www.excess-international.com/ for going the other direction, maybe they do both ways? It's door to door so they could probably pick it up from anywhere. Only problem is 8-12 weeks transit time...
I've done seafreight before, worked out cheap and was door to door, 6 weeks I think.
I've got a Fanatic quadruple board bag for sale if interested?? Cheap!
Just shipped some gear from Sydney to UK with a company called King and Wilson based in Sydney. Seemed a good deal but the dury is out yet as I shipped it only about 4 weeks ago...
