I am so sick of carrying everything down to the beach or having to tie it up, so i have been researching the products to help with this, found a pretty cool one, check it out guys tell me what you think.
Oh me too. I am just so sick of it. I've tried everything from pack mules to sherpas. Now I just bring along a stack of party balloons and helium. While I float the gear to the launching are I write Haiku poems which I attach to the balloons before I release them.
Good thing that the first 10 seconds or so are sped up... looks like nearly as much time is spent fiddling around assembling the thing as it would take to walk the gear to the beach.
Then there's the problem that you have to leave it on the beach instead of having it safely locked up in the car while you're on the water. And then, it's another salty wet and sandy thing to put in the car (by the time you've loaded your wet board, wet wetsuit etc onto it and it's dripped everywhere while you dragged it back up the beach).
All in all, a real effort saver I'm sure. Alternatively, you could just stay home and watch people surfing on a DVD??
hahaha,
wow how long did that take you to write..would have taken me forever to think of that
Did you check out the video??
what do you think?
Has any one on the forum tried one of these yet, it looks cool to me, it would be great to get some feedback on one.
haha nice "555"
they are some good points you brought up.
i think it is more so for some one who rides a bike to the beach, and i guess you would just leave it assembled.
as for the locking up...thats a good one but, i would just use my bike lock.
you definetly raise a few possible downsides to using the "quiverkaddy"
though, im sure there are ways around it, otherwise it wouldnt have been built.![]()
Nah, I'm just having a go at you for having a go at us.
Seriously, I'd really consider buying one if I could ride to where I windsurf but I live on a bicycle island.
on top of your boom which is ontop of your board.
u can see in the phot. can easily take 2 boards and the rest of the bits and pieces
