I'm often asked what i do at work and people i sail with wonder why i have so much time to sail in the arvos (yes i know some might not think it should be called work)
People are posting their home made how-to vids which i think is awesome (and the more getting into this stuff the better i reckon)
I thought it might be appropriate to post this short vid from my current group of students I'm involved with. I encourage them to video themselves while rehearsing. Some of them took it upon themselves to edit up the basic footage and stuck it to some music. These students are a week or so into their course and I thought they did a nice job of it, though I'm not sure how long it will last because of it's commercial soundtrack
dollys, steadycams, greenscreens...
i would cut my someone's arm off to be locked in that room for a month.
Thanks for that. I was under the impression that you were a an adult film director of some description. ![]()
it has it's moments. in the beginning the facilities were under utilised, but i'm now almost running off my feet handling this stuff.
There is a 12 camera motion capture system installed on the truss shown in these pics. I'm currently trying to expand it's usable area to allow for two people to intereact at once, in a fighting scene for example.
It's not normally setup all at once like this. It was a demonstration to show how the photographic, 3D motion capture, CGI and video interlinked
so THATS what you do..(no wonder your photos are so good)..Do you still work in "the industry" or just teach ?
