Do you get Spinners down your way? Check out the video after the link...these sharks (7-9 feet long) go airborne near surfers from time to time. Said to be harmless. Do you have jumpers like this?

My own thought is that if a shark this big jumps anywhere near me, I don't think I'd have the presence of mind to try and identify the species.

Add a kiter to this and you could have yourself one big yo-yo.

Had a small bull shark (it looked like a bull shark anyway) jump out of the water last year at Burrum Heads but nothing like that video.

I doubt we would have the same sharks as you guys because I recently saw a documentary on Seabreeze that said sharks are only found in two places on earth - the northern and southern hemispheres

Could of been because I mako a mark in my pants at the time.

It had that broad bull shark sort of snout on it. It was only about 3.5foot long, so no monster.

KOTP,

Twin 150s with hydrofoils....must be a nice dinghy!

You gotta watch those whites, they'll chew on your prop and make the trip home a long one!

As for flying sharks...Makos and threshers go nuts, but I've only seen them jump whilst hooked.
