Just doing a quick poll to see how many people have had gear stolen in the last few years. And if so, did you eventually recover the gear and how?

I'm surprised people steal windsurfing gear anymore. The market and community is so small stolen gear cannot be worth all that much as it should reasonable possible to recover.

I have never had windsurfing gear stolen. Once my car was broken into with some windsurfing gear when I lived in Wollongong. They had a look at the fins but left them on the front seat. They took all the change out of the ash tray. My car was a Valiant Charger.

I had chinook carbon boom five fingered from the back of my ute.

I hope whoever stole it could swim as it had cracks on both sides and was on its last legs.

One of the lads had a knackered custom nicked from the back of his van in Port Melbourne this year. Bizarre. Totally unsellable, and virtually unsailable.
