Anyone have any recommendations for windsurfing/waterwear sunnies that can be fitted with perscription lens?

Normally I buy a pair of perscription sunnies ever couple of years and use my older sunnies for windsurfing. No particular brand but I get the polarised lense with UV protection. They are secured with one of those neoprene straps and it seems to work well.

Same here but don't trust the neoprene straps..Thats' how I lost my last pair after a major catapult..
Get holes drilled in the arms ( optometrist) then either get some small rings from a locksmith ( 80 cents each) or use fishing line. You can then use the other cord type glass savers & feed them through the rings or tie with the lines.
Then tie your wetsuit leash to the whole thingy so if they come off & flip over your head you still have them.

I am quite happy with Seaspecs as water sunglasses.

They do prescription lenses here:

Of course, I don't need prescription lenses. I had my eyes lasered nearly 16 years ago. Best thing I ever did by a long way.

Don't get sucked into to buying Oakleys. Their water glasses are crap. Even Oakley know that because they don't make them anymore.

I used to wear contacts..until my horse allergy made my eyes have little lumps under the eyelids which the contacts irritated..grr.Oh well it was time to bow to age & go the fulltime spec look..
.I remember the first time I wore my contacts in the surf.At that time they were $90 each..The first time I got munched I decided to open my eyes underwater to see what was going on...@## most expensive look I've ever had [}:)] Not so bad once I went to disposables and remembered to shut my eyes!
Rainex on the glasses makes the water bead & run off..I think my optometrist said that it wasn't good for transition lenses though ( the ones that go dark like I have).
