I've heard a few comments that superglue works well as a way of temporarily sealing up blisters so that you can get out sailing again.

I have a blister on the end of my toe and was wondering if people recommend the superglue treatment - it's either that or rip it off before I play squash this evening

Any advice much appreciated

Give it a go. If it doesn't work you can still rip it off.

Let us know if it works

Having love of tho outdoors and rockclimbing, superglue is something that is my kit.
Good for sealing up "flappers" (flap skin from being cut) and also as a sealant from severe grazing if needed whilst climbing.
Point... it is very toxic (to my knowledge) and is used only as a last resort.
Would it work on blisters..yes I guess, but in regards to the healing, I have found you need to get the glue off so as the healing takes place quicker, hence not a preffered method of "first Aid", but when you are 500mtr up in the air and needing ALL you fingers etc to prevent the "gravity rush" super glue can be your friend

alot of our guests get blisters on their office hands, best quick fix it to wear dishwashing gloves, cut the fingertips off so they dont fill with water, then some ear plugs so u cant hear the laughs..

i have tried superglue as a desperate attempt to heal problem cuts that dont go away, doesnt work..

Don't use standard Superglue as it is toxic.
A surgical one is available at the chemist

I can't wait to see Nasty trying to drive home with a boom superglued to his hand. Might make those carve gybes a little tricky too...

Jeez - all you ladies with the lilly white metros*xual moisturised hands! Disgrace to windsurfing. Y'all need to cowboy the **** up and take the pain! Builds manly callouses for next time. Or copious one handed internet p*rn surfing. Take your pick...

I second that! The surgical stuff was actually developed to patch up soldiers during the Vietnam war.

Personally I have used it to glue skin back onto my hands after blisters popped. I worked a treat...
