Thumbs Up

Had three days at Safety Bay this week and Thursday was the best sail of the season in 25 knots or thereabouts. It was totally awesome! The kids loved it there too and say they never want to sail on the river again!
So thanks everyone for your advice on weed fins, and special thanks to The Grinch for lending me one.
I can recommend a sail at Safety Bay, you will need to get a weedfin but it is worth it.
Good strong consistent wind, convenient sandbars, handy parking and a lovely grassed area for rigging up, a hose for washing down, friendly locals, shallow sandy areas for the kids and a great bakery!

We will be back...

Thumbs Up

Spotted again yesterday morning at southern end of Penguin Island close to shore.

Glad you enjoyed it Windxtasy and great to hear your kids had a great time too.
