This, of course, was deemed to be against the principles of the Party. On the advice of the Ministry of Truth, he was regarded an enemy of the people, a result of his free and open thinking ways, and Big Brother sought to annihilate him at any cost.
This intellectually dangerous book almost didn't make it to publication, because of the ideas it put forth. Thank God it's only fiction.
