Was taking some photos of my gear yesterday (for insurance purposes) when I noticed the fin on my Exo was twisted / warped. It was very noticable at the tip, but had gradually twisted from the base up. Has anyone else had this problem, and what causes it? I used this board / fin a bit over a week ago and didn't notice it behaving differently (A better sailor might have noticed).

I had that with a glass fin before. It was resting with pressure on it and ended up bent. I just heated it with the heat gun and bent it back slowly. Easy.

I twisted a fin once like that, I had left the fin in the board and had the board in the car on a hot day I had all the windows open but the fin was leaning on the back window of my wagon. I just warmed the tip over a gas flame and twisted it back no problems

Yep, suspect the back of the van was the culprit - I will give the heat gun a go.
Baz it's a Drake from '05.

Leave it in the sun on the dash of your car. Might be a bit cool this time of yr, but works in summer.
