G'day everyone.

I'm a year 12 student and i'm trying to seek out an old washing machine or dryer either working or not within the sydney CBD area but willing to travel a bit to obtain it.

Why go to the tip and pay to dump it when you can just have someone come pick it up from you?

If you come to Qld on holiday, please call in and pick up my Simpson Aquarius.

The $2 agitator shaft seal is leaking but to replace it I would need to buy a complete $150 gearbox assembly.

This disposable society makes me sick .

Harros, check out the back loading back of any major electrical goods warehouse on the weekend. They leave the trade-ins out for people to take away because it is cheaper than disposing of the old machines themselves.

Agreed, this throw away society is discusting but its the world we live in.

Well unfortunatly QLD is a slightly extensive drive but thanks for the offer.

They don't have kerbside clean ups down your way?
They're great. Anything remotely worthwhile gets recycled by kerb crawlers.
