MKelly was probably banned because Hardie didn't like him and cried to Laurie about it. MKelly was quite entertaining and could have provoked some interesting debate about the state of windsurfing.

Offending Kitesurfers is still ok though, just check with Hardie before you post anything to make sure he agrees with it.

Far more offensive posts are not deleted, like this racist and violent effort:

MKelly made me laugh too. I dont know why he was taken off. He never really offended anyone from what I read. He was a funny bugger.

Yeah but ****stirers can be good value. He brought up relevant points as in the average windsurfer moans about the wind 90% of the time and has grey hair.

Just as its relevant to question which team someone bats for when they stick their shorts outside their wetsuit and whether kiteboarding is a form of sailing or a form of ritual suicide.

One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist, there is really is no good or evil there is just power and who has it after all. In this forum it is Hardie who is controlling things and keeping it as boring as possible.

Maybe because Hardie has over 1300 posts, and Laurie has developed a fairly reasonable idea about the sort of character that he is.. more so than someone with less than 10 posts??

There's a time and a place for s**t-stirring, and obviously MKelly just got lost in either space or time on his way there..

Red5 is sounding dangerously like he's stopped here for directions to a similar destination??

I'll reserve judgement until he says something intelligent about windsurfing!

Master Kelly (First name "Baiting") was only trying to open hostilities again by baiting which, in reality he wasn't even very good at it.

Da 'Slave is good at baiting, he takes pride in his work.

A good Troll is one where you know you shouldn't, but have to respond, not an immature bait of "Windsurfers are all Old" that was old 5 years ago.

The reality is that someone like that is not to secure in what they do, as they seem to need to rubbish what others do just cause they are too limited intelligence to appreciate the fun side of it.

It seems I owe Hardie an apology, I don't know if he complained about MKelly or not so I should never have accused him of it.

Hey Bud no need to apologise,

Give you a clue though, we love windsurfing here, are very passionate about it, and if you have something constructive to say that will advance the sport in some way or help us enjoy it more than we already do, the say it in a positive way, because the negative stuff always gets jumped on here, and then ya miss being part of a great community. We don't need converting, each of us has free will and can make the choice for ourselves, bagging our sport is not the way.

If ya love kitesurfing, go and post on the other forum and just get off on the buzz of that sport.

There are people in the world that think sports like surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing are a complete waist of time, carried out by pleasure seeking selfish imbeciles, most of them wouldn't waist there time even searching out this forum , or try and convert everyone of us into their philosophy in life.

Elmo, I was not trying to bait anyone, someone else started the thread wondering where MKelly went, I was simply frustrated at MKelly being unfairly erased and I responded emotionally which I regret doing as it is how the weak respond. Obviously MKelly pushed a few people's buttons and evoked a bit of an emotional response eh!

I agree with you though, it is an established fact that the windsurfing population is rapidly aging and the subject requires no further discussion.

lots of new young guys and girls on the goldy are starting out, lots of other retailers around the country i talk to agree, the sport is experiencing regrowth and that shows in just this side of the forum as an example.

also the windsurfing enthusiasts are rapidly staying young and healthy not rapidly aging.

maybe you would like to share where you get your facts pertaining to australia red5
