the society and friends ones are spot on . Its hard to explain to people that we do its almost totaly different from what they did on the hire stuff on holidays .

I had a colleague once overhear me talking about windsurfing...he goes "you're mad, you'll end up hanging from the trees by your strings one day!"

A friend said to me just two days ago - windsurfing must be hard on your back. I guess it depends on how many times you drop the sail...
I think I went through that stage 20 years ago...

Noticed on one of the Seabreeze windsurfing forum pages a plug for a guy called Ruben Lenten who is currently in Oz. I remember the name from NZ windsurfing/kiteboarding magazine my kids gave me for Christmas in 2005. Checked out some Utube video and thought I'd post a link.

Stay with it. This guy is amazing/crazy!
