Yeah Feb is normally a bit late but this year we did get some. Dec-Jan is peak.

Feb I'd think about Esperance but you said Perth - are u restricted to only Perth or can travel?

I've been doing WA in Feb for the last 2 years and have had an awesome time. Last year I was maxed out on a 4.7 most of the time and had to borrow a 4.2 for the windy days. I can't vouch for Perth but Geraldton at that time of year just rocks, and you miss out on the tourist season. Pack your gear and head for Coronation Beach, last year I sailed all but three days in a month....2 because of no wind and the other due to exaution(hangover). And I'll be doing it again this year, Geraldton get ready for the canberra windsurfers club.

Never again! the wind has switched off for good! and when it will return no one knows.. If I were you I would ring up 'king of the point' and ask him to keep a eye out for any sign of wind.

Welll yes, in Gero you'll be right. Still not peak time so you will need to be flexible so you can sit in perth for a few days and when the weatehr is right go to Gero.
You can still get a week of 42deg and no wind in Gero in Feb.

Esperance is pretty much the opposite weather pattern to the West coast so ideally you would have a week of wind in Gero then just as it turns to crap there, you drive to Esp and get 4 or 5 days there.
