ahaha, I was thinking that myself today.
I was surfing Mutton Bird beach this morning and it was about 15knts cross-off when I left. The channels are deep at the moment, but it is really shallow on the inside. My next-door neighbour was a good windsurfer and I believe this is one of the places he went wavesailing.
That wasn't you I saw at Mutton-Bird with the bic techno 2 on the roof?
Im goin to albany on chrissy day , where is good to sail there?
waves are ok
u heading down there zed?
As far as flat water goes, I've sailed on oyster harbour, launching from emu pt, and also on Princess Royal Harbour, launching from the sailing club.
I think anywhere in King Geroge Sound would be ok as well. In these easterlies, I reckon you could sail on a reach all the way from Emu Pt to Frenchman Bay (about 5km).
Yeah I'm down here now. Was hell windy today, went sailing at Frenchmans bay. Surfed sand patch in the am & wanted to sail there in the arvo, but no-one out and it was completely off-shore. Looked awesome though, would love to sail there.
Yeah that was me with bic techno, but I don't wavesail with that badboy!
awww, I'm all upset now, I was going to go to Albany for X-mas, but I'm going north now... I didnt think anyone would go down for a surf :S
I wouldn't mind surfing out of Middleton beach :p I will definately give Mutton Bird a go, that place is loverly.
if you want waves, what about Nannerup?? thats a couple of Km's out of town, on the way to two peoples bay, always a rip out there though, and probably want a 4wd for the beach :)
Have a great time in Albany btw, I love that place :)

I saw someone there in a blue ford? with a yellow Bic Techno2 on the roof.
Surprising that Sandpatch wasn't big. The sets at Mutton Bird Beach were almost head high and Sandpatch is usually at least twice as big as mutton bird...
