Hi Cylinders,

A lot of sailors in Sydney sail in Botany Bay in a Southerly. The most popular launch spot is down the Brighton end of the beach. Look for parking along The Grand Parade around Henson St.

There is plenty of grass areas for rigging, and beach access is pretty good.

You can then get decent runs on a N/E heading out toward the runway and back. Sometimes a decent swell will roll through which make for some great ramps.

Have Fun!

Also: Dolls Pt, Sandringham are OK.
Of course Wanda a bit further down the coast, OK jumping if you're right handed.
La Perouse OK but not great.

On the north side, off Balmoral past Grotto is good, but a bitch to leave & return.
Don't bother really.

I believe in the Dee Why or Curl Curl area (not much of a N. side boy...)
