So I am planning on buying a new shirt, have been using standard rash vests for years which aren't great for the cold and thought I should get some advice if anyone could please help this poor noob
I see there are thinner insulating vests, stretch neoprene ones and combination lycra poly types by sharkskin and lavacore which also fall in the higher price category, are they as good?
So what I would like to know about before I purchase are factors like
Warmth, I get cold really easy
Water weight if paddling a surfboard
water distortion and flow when getting hammered, like will it get rearranged and ripped off etc
Lifespan
ease of taking on and off
Finally if you know a good price for such an item and where to get it.
