Hi all,

Planning a family holiday to Thailand in May/June and would like to fit in some windsurfing whilst there. Any info/advice on locations, equipment hire etc would be appreciated.

Regards.

Steve.

I think Pattaya is the place...but May/June?? Most windsurfing in SE Asia is based around the NE Monsoon, which is roughy around the Northern winter months (when it's summer in Australia - did you know that?). You might catch the "opposite" monsoon season, the SW, but it's not usually as good and in some places it may be crap.

Check SE Asia's best windsurfing forum - www.bluefinz.com -someone will be able to help!

Thanks WW,

Yeah unfortunately limited to this time of year as my business is a little seasonal and it's the quiet time!!

Thanks for the reply, will try the forum as suggested.

Another thought...find out where Starboard HQ is located (they're based in Thailand)...should be some wind there!
