Attention Sydney Windsurfers

This is similarly posted on the Kitesurfing Forum

It appears that Sutherland Shire Council has plans to fence the foreshore of Silver Beach, Kurnell. This will seriously impact on our windsurfing/kiting access. There are also plans to revegetate Bonna Point, a popular winter spot.

There is a public meeting with Council on Saturday 10:00am, 12th February at Bonna Point (far western end of Silver Beach, Kurnell).

If this proposal goes ahead it will have an impact on safety and result in very limited beach access.

Please come along and show your support to the Kurnell residents who also do not want this development.
