Sailor Sean Langman world sailing speed record craft the Wot Rocket comes to a crashing halt during an attempt on the 50knot target on Botany Bay this afternoon. Anyone know how you can find out in advance when/if/wotif they are gonna have a go as I would like to get out & have a look-see
At least when we stack we can (hopefully) let go of the kit.
Must have been a wild ride, respect to them.
Great to see them have a go!
When you see a moth come off the foils they tend to do a nose dive thingy - I wonder if it was the same sort of thing that caused the catapult?
