We must think of some new places to go I think ... in the meantime here's something I shot earlier in the year with Scotty & Philip.
Nice video well done... just a couple of points to consider though.
You might want to inform people of your link to Starboard... ie the fact your are a sponsored rider and doing some 'promotional work' as part of your deal... err I mean contract.
Wouldn't want you appearing on the ABC's Media Watch now would we ![]()
You might want to check your focus on one of your cameras... unless you're purposely attempting to pass off focus tracking issues as a modern and cutting edge 'editing style'
And finally you might want to consider shelling out for some additional effects as opposed to the stock adobe ones that you've used as part of your subliminal message editing effect.. or maybe buy the full version of the software if this is a feature that's only unlocked by buying the pro version ?
Awesome.
Nice edit, nice waves. Looks like a lot of fun.

The fact that Sean shot it and that the video you just watched is on the Starboard Youtube Channel should cover that pretty well. Oh, and the fact that "Sean O'Brien AUS-120" is one of Australia's best racers and competes on the PWA Tour and the Formula World Circuit... but then you might have missed that from Vatican City.
Nice.
How long did it take you to thaw Philip out afterwards? I grew up in Esperance, and I don't remember it *ever* being rashie and boardies water temperature. Unless you had one of those fry your eyeballs northerlies.

Really?! I've only been there that once for this shoot. It was 2nd week of Feb and pretty warm... I swam around in shorts most of the time. Did we just get lucky? Such a magical spot...
Careful Sean you might be berated for endorsing boardies
When I lived in Esperance I didn't get out of the spring suit (in a seabreeze anyway) all summer whereas in Perth or Lancelin I am in boardies and rashie by Dec easily. You must have scored it warm...

Yeap... I'm one of the two teams that do the majority of Starboard's videos. The other is MNP in Maui who shoot all the product videos etc. All our vids go on starboards YouTube channel so I figured no introduction is necessary...
FYI. I'm using Premiere Pro CC to edit and there is no such thing as full/pirated versions anymore. You pay a subscription to licence the software which is quite reasonable. Only took Adobe 10 years to figure that out!
The effect with the text comes with the program... Haha I used it on all the episodes actually. I think it just says "adobe image solution" or something. Keepin' it classy ![]()
