First time in weeks - Wind was building up nicely, got home from work, phaffed around for a little bit, nice easterly swinging a little to the north, thought 6.7m2, rigged it up got one okay run, second run wind died, about 2km off shore, floating around, wind swung to south west, big furking storm clouds, then a little lightning, and about 30+ knot gust to get me home. Sat out storm, wind came in from east again and died very quickly with another storm front.

You just can't win.

Easty,
Thanks for reading about it!

SE just kicking in now - could be a good Sunday session as wife and kids are away visiting. Probably just jinxed it though.

I saw that graph and remembered back to the days of desperately watching the arrows build, Yay it's yellow I can go out now, watching fronts hit northern NSW, then Coolangatta, then hopefully banana bank...

Getting skunked after a 1.5 hour drive...

Now I'm thinking of sitting tomorrow out, I've sailed 4 or 5 days out of every week these last few weeks. Sailed 150km today, body's pretty darn sore!

Good to hear everyone is getting some decent wind (apart from Firiebob in Cairns)

Great SE here today - just been for a quick run although somehow put a slight crack in the wood veneer (s-type 93) just froward of the mast track. It appears the only thing that lines up with the crack and could have done it was the built in sail padding around the mast base. Some running repairs and then back out this afternoon.
