KM Global productions is currently looking for windsurfers and kite surfers aged 30-50ish for a photo shoot either this sunday 6th April or monday (weather depending) at South Beach Fremantle WA. it should take about 3hours and the shots that we require are of you getting ready to go out and possible action shots.

Your face will be recognisable so payment is involved. If you are interested please email Kate at [email protected] with a photo showing your face (a social photo is fine) if possible or for more info.

Thanks

They probably have a corporate jet - will come to you wherever you are in Australia, pick you up with all your stuff, and take you to where ever it's cranking that day (Maui perhaps) just so you can set up your kit while they take pictures.

And.. they still want to pay you!

But then, only good looking people need apply. (reading between the lines!) That counts most of us out.. except maybe Surfinchick, Susie and possibly Stewie(depending on who you ask)?

Kate at KM Global what are you trying to sell? It dicatates whether you want windsurfers, or kitesurfers, at your photo shoot.

If it is advertising cans of HTFU, and target audience is 18 y/o homies with their undies 2 inches higher than their pants, maybe get the kitesurfers only.

If trying to sell a harcore sports product to red blooded aussie males then you'd want the windsurfers.

and will you be there

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PHOTO SHOOT.

I have been in contact KM Global and their client is Stockland who is one of the developer working on the South Development. They are using our sports to promote a development that will adversely affect us. As sailors and beach users are have a lot to lose if the development destroys the sailing conditions. Guaranteed the minute people start to live in the new houses there will be complaints about sailors of all types being dangerous and attempts made to ban us from the beaches.

This sort of advertising should not be supported by this forum

I agree totally. I prepared the WWA submission which opposed the south beach / coogee developments as it would bvgger up Crazy Waves.
We presented reams of paper and a good argument.....our opinion was not even acknowledged by DPI, the Minister, or the developers.

Hopefully she will tell her client that the windsurfers don't like losing the beaches that belong to everybody, and having them handed to rich people on a platter???
